> Fingerprinting Services
If you are in need of fingerprinting as part of your VIRTUS certification to volunteer at St. Luke, please call the Pastoral Office to schedule an appointment. Fingerprinting service will be available on Thursday, Aug. 25, Noon-7:00 pm by appointment in Room 404.
All clergy, paid parish/school personnel and volunteers who work regularly in a supervisory role with children or youth must be fingerprinted and VIRTUS trained. All Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Lectors, Sacristans and Music Ministry members must also be finger printed and trained.
VIRTUS Training Class – “Protecting God’s Children”: This class is the initial three-hour class to be certified as VIRTUS trained. If you have never taken a VIRTUS class or the time between classes has lapsed past four years, you need to take this class.
VIRTUS Recertification Class – “Keeping the Promise Alive”: This class is for those that have taken the VIRTUS class in the last 4 years and need to update their status.
Please check back soon for when the next sessions will be held at St. Luke. If you know that you are not current in VIRTUS, you may take a class being held in the area. Visit www.virtusonline.org.
VIRTUS Certificates/Records: If you have taken a VIRTUS class, please turn in a copy of the certificate to the Pastoral Office so that your attendance is recorded. Classes are only good for four years. You must take a recertification class before the four years expire.
All invitations to outside clergy to speak or say Mass (weddings, funerals, special celebrations, etc.) must be approved through the Pastoral Office so the pastor is aware of who is being invited on campus. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
Download the Notice to Visiting Clergy and Statement of Suitability for more details. (This policy applies to ministries & organizations inviting clergy to St. Luke Parish and clery who wish to attend.)
