The weekend of May 21-22, after all the Masses, the Mary Queen of Heaven Missionary sisters will visit St. Luke Church to tell us about Regina Coeli Home of Love, their new transitional women’s shelter in San Gabriel Valley for victims of sex trafficking. They will have tables after all the Masses with information about the Home of Love, ways we can support this important ministry and religious items for sale.
There are pink donation envelopes for Regina Coeli Home of Love in the pews. All donations collected will be in memory of Fr. Robert Victoria. Please make checks payable to “The Queen of Heaven Missionaries”; envelopes can be turned in at the tables outside of the Masses.
A Marian Conference will be held on Friday, May 27, at St. Luke Parish, with Fr. Ed Broom, OMV. All are welcome to attend. Mass will be held at 6:00 pm in the church, following by a Conference (7:00-8:00 pm), and a Holy Hour & Confession from 8:00 to 9:00 pm.
All are invited to attend a May Crowning and Procession in honor of our Blessed Mother on Saturday, May 28. Schedule ~ 5:00 pm: Offering of Flowers to Our Blessed Mother (In the Church); 5:30 pm: Solemn Mass (Vigil) Crowning of Our Blessed Mother during the Mass; 6:30 pm: Procession of Our Blessed Mother around the Church and School Grounds; 7:00 pm: Back to Church. Did you know? One in every five parishes needs financial assistance, and one in every four Catholic schools needs critical funds to keep their doors open. Our cumulative Together in Mission 2022 goal is $14.4 million—representing the Annual Appeal throughout all five regions of this archdiocese.
This year’s Parish Goal is $61,636. Our theme this year is “As One We Believe,” which is special because it reminds us that we are one family with Christ. We are grateful to those parishioners who have given generously in the past to the archdiocesan annual appeal and have helped us meet our campaign goals.
This year there are four ways to give:
1) Complete the pledge form (in the pews) and drop it in the collection basket;
2) Scan the QR Code on the pledge envelope to make an electronic gift;
3) You may also make a gift by texting ‘Believe’ to 213-397-0682;
4) You may visit togetherinmission.org to make an online donation.
Please make checks payable to “Together in Mission.”
If you haven’t already done so, we invite you to prayerfully discern with family members your sacrificial gift. Thank you on behalf of the more than 15,000 students, and their families attending the schools this campaign supports, as well as the approximate 525,000 families living in the 67 parish communities and 75 Catholic schools that will benefit from your generosity. Together, let’s make a difference for our schools and parishes.
