Lenten Potluck Dinners

NOTE: The Knights of Columbus Fish Dinners that were scheduled for the first three Fridays of Lent have been cancelled. We invite everyone to attend our Lenten Dinner Potlucks.

Stations of the Cross
All are invited to participate in Stations of the Cross on Lenten Fridays at 4:45 pm in the church March 7-April 11.

• Friday, 28 March at Nativity (7pm)
• Monday, 31 March at St. Luke (7pm)
• Tuesday, 8 April at Holy Angels (7pm)

The Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) will next meet on Saturday, April 12, 10:00 am-1:00 pm in the St. Luke Upper Room. MOMS is a study/support group for women to share, learn and bond in our Catholic Christian Faith, while gaining insight into our mission as mothers, whether we are biological, step, adoptive or spiritual moms. 

Through peer ministry, self-discovery and prayer, together we will become more aware of our inner sacredness as women and as moms. Women who are not mothers are also welcome!   

We are studying “My Book of Badass Saints” (Ave Maria Press 2015), by Maria Morera Johnson. We have used copies available for a small donation or you can purchase directly on Amazon in new or used condition. We meet once a month from January through June. Now on Saturdays! The next Senior Citizen Bingo & Potluck is Saturday, April 26 (New date), at Noon in the Parish Hall. Cards are $3 each or 2 for $5, and they are good for the afternoon. Bingo games will follow lunch. There will also be a 50/50 Raffle. All are welcome! Questions? Contact Joan Sutton at (626) 824-2105. Upcoming Dates: Saturday - May 31 and June 14. Parking is available in the North Parking Lot near the Parish Hall. Enter off of Cloverly Avenue.

The St. Luke Family Ministry will host its Annual Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 10 and under following the 10:30 am Mass on Easter Sunday (April 20) in the Parish Courtyard. 

We are seeking donations of Easter candies and plastic eggs to help defray the costs (candies are mostly needed). Donations can be brought to the Pastoral Office. Thank you!

We are gladly accepting donations of Pussy Willow, Olive Branches and Palms for our Palm Sunday environment. Please bring them to the Pastoral Office April 1-7. Thank you! Parishioners are invited to wear red on Palm Sunday, April 13.

Thank you, dear parishioners, for your generosity! Our St. Luke St. Vincent de Paul conference is very appreciative of your help with keeping our pantry shelves well stocked with the items we request each month. Our next Pantry Weekend is the weekend of April 12-13.  

These are the items we especially need this month: all kinds of cereals, peanut butter (especially chunky), jelly, tomato sauce, tomato paste, vegetable oils, non-dairy milks (almond, oat, etc.), granola bars and cookies. We will have shopping carts at the church exits after all the Masses next weekend to collect your donations. Thank you for your support! The St. Luke Food Pantry provides food, by appointment, to anyone who needs food. If you know of anyone in the parish or the community in need of food, please have them call (626) 684-2914.
