A Message From Ivonne Melendrez, Youth
Minister As Youth Ministry begins to develop a calendar and core team for Jr. High and High School-aged ministry,
we are seeking youth, young and ‘seasoned’ adults who are willing to share their time and talent with Jr. High
and High School students. We are looking to empower and nourish our teens to stand “Firm in their faith.” During
World Youth Day in Madrid, Spain, this past summer, Pope Benedict called on young adults to be disciples of Christ. It is
with this challenge that I invite you as a community of firm believers in Christ to work hand-inhand with our parish to create
a strong faith community. We all have talents, and the most wonderful blessing is to share them with all whom we encounter. Please contact the Youth Office for more information: (626) 291-5900, ext. 247, Ivonne Melendrez, or email Youth@stluketemplecity.org. Attention: All high school teens - check us out and join us in the Youth Room for some
fellowship and fun after the 5:30 P.M. Mass on Sunday. |
